"1943 Nov 13, Alor Star to Penang, cover with Japanese 8c. with double censorship tied Japanese double ring “Alor Star” cds.(Proud JD9) Janpanese only dated 11 / 23 / 2603, on obverse boxed Alor Star 7 censor marking in black & boxed Ipoh 11 censor marking in purple. Thai postal authority started admistrating Srilat Malai on 1943 October 19 and in the beginning kept using Japanese postage and postmark(Proud JD9) for less than 3 months until a new Thai postages and postmarks arrived on 1944 Jan 15. About five items are recorded for postal history during this period. Cover opened 2 sided with small tear at center bottom along with few negligible faults. An immensly rare period of Thai postal history usage with Japanese postage and postmarks. Historical and magnificent exhibition item. F.(1)"
